Overbit highly recommends users to setup Two Factor Authentication (2FA).

What is Two-Factor Authentication?
The 2FA is a method in which a user is granted access only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism: knowledge (e.g. password), possession (e.g. phone), and inherence (e.g. fingerprint).
To ensure that your 2FA is secured, you must unlock 2 steps before accessing your account on Overbit, via your password and a Google authentication code.

You can download the Google Authenticator application below if you do not currently have a 2FA on your smartphone.

Android – Google Authenticator
iOS – Google Authenticator

Setting up your Google Authentication

1. Please login and go to your Dashboard.

Go to Account & Preferences section and click the button that says My account and you will find Two Factor Authentication in the middle of the page.

2. Click the Setup 2FA button to enable your Two-Factor Authentication.

3. Open your Google Authenticator application on your smartphone and scan the QR code displayed on your page. Next, enter the six-digit number shown on your smartphone to Token code field and then click Enable.

Congratulations! You have now successfully enabled your 2FA.
